PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To reduce variations in rotating loads which are respectively applied to photoreceptor drums, to restrict amounts of toners of different colors, which accidentally enter color developing means, to a level that does not cause image deterioration to prevent color slippage. SOLUTION: In the color image forming device having blade-cleanerless photoreceptor drums 2a, 2b, 2c, and 2d, amounts of toners of different colors, which accidentally enter the developing means 4a, 4b, 4c, and 4d, are judged to control color mixture such that each of the amounts is smaller than a fixed permissible value, thereby eliminating the need for cleaners. Thus, load variation and torque of each of the photoreceptor drums 2a, 2b, 2c, and 2d are reduced. |
