PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To reduce vibration in particular frequency component, which is generated while a stepping motor is step driven. SOLUTION: In a stepping motor drive device which has a constant current control drive circuit to drive a stepping motor with a constant current chopper drive which adopts a PWM control, the upper limit of the PMW frequency having a delta wave or a saw tooth wave of the PWM control is placed at a frequency or less than the rotor of the stepping motor responds with a micro vibration, and the lower limit of the PWM frequency in the stepping motor is placed at a frequency at which the vibration amplitude of the rotor becomesτ/2 or more in the stepping motor, of which the rotor does not rotate by one step angle and which the stator and the rotor have a machine angleτ. |
