PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To stop a whip antenna from coming out of an insulating coupling member as to an antenna for communication equipment such as a portable telephone set which is composed of the whip antenna and a helical antenna fitted to the tip of the whip antenna. SOLUTION: The antenna for portable communication equipment is constituted by coupling the helical antenna 31 with the tip part of a linear conductor 11 forming the whip antenna through the insulating coupling member 5, and an extraction stop part A is formed by deforming the circumference of the tip part of the linear conductor 11 and when the insulating coupling member 5 is molded of synthetic resin, the extraction stop part A of the linear conductor 11 is molded by being buried.
