PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an information retrieval method for handling documents, content, persons and the like by a unified method by directly relating those only indirectly related by interposing a document in the past art in order to satisfy the demand of increasingly advanced document use. SOLUTION: Porper elements or data items are inputted to respective plural preliminarily designated fields. With respect to all elements possibly forming the value of one designated field, the super-spatial coordinates conformed to all pairs of a field name and an element possibly providing this value, which appear in a data item group that is an input, are calculated in reference to a conceptual base to which the coordinate of a certain super-spatial is assigned to output a conceptual space having the coordinates of all the field name- element pairs accumulated therein, whereby those having the field name designated by input item designation are neatly arranged and outputted in the order based on the similarity to the coordinate.
