PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a communication device which enables users to operate securely. SOLUTION: Placing dielectrics (131-134) on the back of an operation button (100) in the area which are moved from the parts indicated by arrows by 45 degrees from the center on the surface of the operation button (100) and creating a pattern on a board (120) in accordance with the dielectrics (131-134) respectively. A control unit not shown in the figure judges that one of the arrows on the top, bottom, right and left of the operation button (100) is pressed, when it detects that two dielectrics out of the above dielectrics (131-134) contacts the pattern on the board (120).
