PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a vortex flowmeter capable of improving reliability and measuring the flow of a fluid with good accuracy. SOLUTION: A stress transmitting part 6 is a member for relaxing pressuring force between a stress working part 4 and a stress detecting part 5 and transmitting torsional stress working on the stress working part 4 to the stress detecting part 5. The stress transmitting part 6 is a toothed washer having elasticity in the direction of thickness. The stress transmitting part 6 is inserted between the stress working part 4 and the stress detecting part 5, and collapsed and fixed between them. The stress transmitting part 6 is plastically deformed by collapsing the tooth part with a certain interference and clamped between a base 4b and a projecting part 5a, whereby the torsional stress on the stress working part 4 side is transmitted to the stress detecting part 5 through a contact part between them. Accordingly, the pressurizing force between the stress working part 4 and the stress detecting part 5 can be prevented from being increased more than needed to cause stress corrosion cracks.
