PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a V-ribbed belt capable of inhibiting a generation of noise caused by a slight slide between a rib part and a V-ribbed pulley at the time of racing by curing a surface of the rib part by applying a simple surface treatment to the rib part of the V-ribbed belt without particularly imparting a change to a composition of the rib part. SOLUTION: In the V-ribbed belt, a surface of a rib part is subjected to a curing treatment by an irradiation of infrared ray or far infrared radiation and a friction of a contact border surface of the rib part and a V-ribbed pulley can be reduced.
