PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain an ultraviolet ray-absorbing fiber or fiber structure capable of inhibiting the skin from absorbing the ultraviolet rays, and capable of defending the skin against stains, wrinkles, freckles, and further various diseases caused by excessively absorbing the ultraviolet rays. SOLUTION: This fiber or fiber structure is obtained by adhering tea polyphenols which can absorb and control the ultraviolet rays of an invisible wavelength range existing in the sunlight to the fiber or the fiber structure.
