PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a stator for dynamo-electric machine with high formability and ease of assembly, capable of preventing generation of low performance. SOLUTION: This stator comprises a plurality of stator members 8 formed by layering a plurality of sheet magnetic members 6 consisting of yoke pieces 6a and magnetic pole teeth pieces 6b, and capable of moving in such a direction as to be estranged by at least a dimension L=2×π×t/n (where, t: protruding length of the magnetic pole teeth piece 6b, n: number of slot parts 7) within a range where the adjacent edges of the respective yoke pieces 6a are arranged in an annular form so that they may be overlapped in the layering direction and are overlapped in the peripheral direction; and a coil members 11 arranged inside the respective stator members 8 under a condition that the respective stator members 8 move in such a direction as to be estranged, and attached to the respective magnetic pole teeth pieces 6b under such a condition that the respective stator members 8 are set back.
