SOLUTION: A plurality of superconducting electromagnetic coils 3 are circumferentially aligned and embedded into a bearing housing 1 and a plurality of normal conducting electromagnetic coils 4 are circumferentially arranged on a shaft and embedded therein. The shaft 2 is levitated and supported by a repulsive force between the bearing housing 1 and the shaft 2.
