PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an image forming device and an image forming method capable of preventing the occurrence of developing history by adjusting the image density of a toner image. SOLUTION: After a patch image is formed, a defective toner removing image RI is developed by a developing unit. Then, the defectively electrified toner is removed from a developing roller 238. Besides, following the formation of the defective toner removing image RI, an electrification adjusting image EI is blank-developed by the developing unit. The electrified amount of the toner is adjusted by the blank-developing, and the satisfactorily electrified toner is carried by the developing roller. Thus, the occurrence of the developing history is effectively prevented at the following patch forming process (bias calculating processing in a narrow range). |
