PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To inhibit a cartridge loading cover from being opened by an inadvertent operation when a film feeding motor is driven. SOLUTION: When the feeding motor 28 is driven, the rotating case 61 of a motor drive detecting mechanism 60 is rotated. An inertial body 62 pivotally supported in the case 61 is turned by centrifugal force and pushes up a case cover 63 and a pressing pin 65. The pin 65 turns on the switch 76 of a safety lock mechanism 70 so as to drive a solenoid 74. The solenoid 74 attracts and holds an attraction plate 73 pivotally supported on a control plate 72. When an operation knob 23 is tried to be displaced to a lock releasing position, the plate 72 pivotally supported on a supporting plate 71 integrally formed with the knob 23 is turned around the engaging pin 73a of the plate 73 and abuts on a locking projection 49 so as to prevent the displacement of the plate 71 and the knob 23. Thus, the lock of the cartridge loading cover 22 can not be released.
