PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To automate mounting of cover glass by effectively utilizing the constitution of an existing sample processing device. SOLUTION: An attraction member 28 is mounted in place of a nozzle tip 24 at a nozzle base part 20. In this mounting state, a dispensing pump 46 is activated to make suction, by which the attraction of the cover glass 38 by the attraction member 28 is made possible. When the dispensing pump 46 is operative to make discharge in the state that the cover glass 52 is positioned onto slide glass, the cover glass 38 is detached from the attraction member 28 and the cover glass 38 is mounted onto the slide glass 52. The attraction surface is preferably inclined to expel air bubbles.
