PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To develop a heat exchanger capable of preventing a waste heat dissipating to an exterior, preventing a deformation of a body and preventing a dew formation to abort a corrosion of an inner water channel. SOLUTION: Shield members 50 are respectively provided between an inner piping 3 of a row of an upper stage (a) and an inner wall 40b of a body 2 and between inner piping 3 of a row of an upper stage (e) and an inner wall 40d of the body 2. Since these parts are blocked, a burnt gas does not flow to the vicinity of the wall 40bd. Thus, the wall 40bd is not heated, its deformation is not brought about and its heat is not wastefully externally dissipated. An end of an external water channel 6 is connected to the internal water channel 3 provided at an intermediate part, and water is first supplied to a second water channel from the end. Accordingly, even when a low temperature water passes through the piping 3 of the row of the upper stage (b), the dew is not formed, the corrosion of the piping is aborted, and its durability is high.
