PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To solve a problem that a power consumption amount can not be reduced since ignition is impracticable in a short time, in liquid fuel combustion equipment used in a heat source for a hot water supply apparatus and a heater, etc. SOLUTION: Heating air 37 generated that combustion air is heated through a heat generating body 21 by which a vaporizer 15 is increased in a short time to a high temperature and liquid fuel the temperature of which is increased to a given value by effecting heating by a heater 26 incorporated in the vaporizer 15 are injected through a nozzle 14. At this time, a part of the liquid fuel is vaporized directly by the heating combustion air to generate vaporized gas and a rest is collided with the vaporizer 15 and forcibly spread also by an air supply force to generate vaporized gas which is fed to a burner head 28. Since the vaporized gas is fed in a short time to the burner head 28, and ignition in a short time is practicable and a power consumption amount can be relieved.
