A first set of parallel equidistant vertical strait lines (2) represent the heights of water. A second set of parallel horizontal straight lines (3,12,13) is oriented perpendicular to that first. A semicircle (4,5) is disposed with its diameter (6) parallel to the first lines and divided into several equal parts by rays (7,8,10,11) representing the hours of tide. The lines of the second set pass by the intersections at variable pitch.
