PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an AD converter for measuring radiation, capable of giving instruction for peak stretching for all peaks, surely conducting AD conversion of an effective peak to prevent missing in counting pulses, and improving counting rate, even when a superimposed pulse is inputted. SOLUTION: This AD converter for measuring radiation consists of a peak stretch circuit 2 for stretching a peak of a pulse included in an input pulse signal, a peak detection circuit 3 for detecting the peak of a pulse, a leading edge detection circuit 5 for detecting the leading edge of a pulse, a pile up detection circuit 8 for setting inspection time for detecting pile-up of a pulse, an AD converter 7 AD-converting the output of the peak stretch circuit, and a control circuit 6 giving an instruction for peak stretch based on a detection signal from the leading edge detection circuit and sending a control signal which instructs AD conversion, based on the detected signal from the pile up detection circuit. |
