POWER SOURCE SUPPLY SYSTEM OF DISC ARRAY APPARATUS

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a power supply system of disc array apparatus which keeps ON the power supply of an expanded cabinet, even when the power supply of the basic cabinet is turned OFF or is required to manually turn OFF unit by unit the power switch of the expanded cabinet, because there is not provided an interface to control the power supply between the basic cabinet and expanded cabinet. SOLUTION: Supply of electrical power to an expanded cabinet can be turned ON and OFF without turning ON/OFF (while the power switch of the expanded cabinet is maintained to ON) without turning ON and OFF the power switch of the expanded cabinet by supplying the power source of the basic cabinet and expanded cabinet from the power supply apparatus for each system and then turning ON and OFF the switch of the basic cabinet in conjunction with the basic cabinet and power supply apparatus.
