<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a target detector which readily conducts a target extraction in a high-density environment by improving an error alarm probability for performing target detection with an improved detection probability. SOLUTION: This target detector is provided with a radar signal processing means 1 for inputting a received signal of a radar and outputting a video signal, a systematic error alarm ratio detecting means 2 for outputting a video signal exceeding a threshold as a detection signal, a threshold control means 3 calculating an error alarm probability from a target detection probability demanded by a tracking means 6 and controlling the threshold used in the systematic error alarm ratio detecting means 2, an attribute information extracting means 4 extracting Doppler information, signal intensity and the like from the detection signal outputted by the systematic error alarm ratio detecting means 2, an inter-scan correlating means 5 regarding a detection signal existing in a correlation gate M times among N samples in the detection signals outputted by the systematic error ratio detecting means 2 as a target signal, and the tracking means 6 for inputting the target signal and estimating motion characteristics, such as a position and a speed of a tracking target.</p> |
