PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a sine wave signal output type compact piezoelectric oscillation circuit which has superior starting characteristics. SOLUTION: In the piezoelectric oscillation circuit where one terminal of a piezoelectric vibrator is connected to the base of a transistor for oscillation and the other terminal is connected to the collector of the transistor, a series circuit of a 1st capacitor and a 2nd capacitor is inserted and connected between the power source and ground, and the connection mid-point between the 1st capacitor and 2nd capacitor and one terminal of the piezoelectric vibrator are connected to eliminate the effect on circuit setting conditions for outputting a sine-wave signal. Further, a filter circuit equipped with an inductance element which is not suitable for an IC is not used to obtain a sine wave, thus the sine wave signal output type small-sized piezoelectric oscillation circuit having superior starting characteristics can be obtained.
