PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To reduce the jitter component contained in wobble information. SOLUTION: A first push-pull signal containing the wobble component obtained by detection signals A-D from a main detector 51 is generated, and second and third push-pull signals are generated by detection signals E-H from side detectors 52, 53. By adding these second and third push-pull signals by an adder 45, a crosstalk component contained in the first push-pull signal is generated so that the wobble information of a recording track is generated and outputted by using a signal in which the crosstalk component is cancelled from the first push-pull signal containing the wobble signal component of the recording track.
