PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To produce a polyurethane elastic fiber capable of being set at a low temperature, capable of exhibiting soft fit feeling, and especially capable of allowing a textile thereof combined with another material to be produced without damaging the feelings and functions possessed by both of the materials. SOLUTION: This polyurethane elastic fiber satisfies the following conditions (1) to (3): (1) the angle formed by the half value width of the maximum peak intensity in the azimuthal scan in a small angle X-ray scattering measurement is >=60 deg.; (2) the angle represented by the angle obtained by observing the half value width of spread in the equatorial direction of the scattering in the meridional direction in the small angle X-ray scattering measurement is <=2.5 deg.; and (3) the peak temperature of the maximum shrinkage stress in a heat stress measurement is <=135 deg.C.
