PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an electrophotographic transfer sheet having stable surface electric resistance even when the environmental humidity changes, excellent in toner transfer property, and excellent for practical use without fracture or deformation by water. SOLUTION: The sheet consists of a supporting body made of synthetic paper essentially comprising polypropylene and an image receiving layer containing synthetic hectorite clay mineral formed on at least one surface of the supporting body. The surface electric resistance of the image receiving layer in the range from 10 deg.C to 30 deg.C and from 30% to 85% RH relative humidity is preferably 1×106 to 1×109Ω. Moreover, the image receiving layer preferably contains a polyurethane ionomer resin.
