<p>A method of producing rollers comprising the steps of molding a high polymer elastic body by using a mold so that the molding is substantially cylindrical and is greater in length and diameter than a roller to be produced, grinding the outer periphery of the cylindrical molding so that its diameter has a predetermined value, and then cutting the opposite ends thereof so that its length has a predetermined value, whereby multikind and small quantity production of image forming device members can be economically performed.
