The invention relates to a device (50) for moistening fluid-absorbing media for body-hygiene and similar, with a system reservoir (5), in which the fluid for moistening is stored and a stroke valve unit (5a), arranged on the system reservoir (5). Said device is characterised in that a distribution unit (2) is detachably mounted on the valve unit (5a), coupled to the stroke movement of the valve unit (5a) and comprising a distribution plate (2b) and a capillary unit (3), arranged on the distribution plate (2a). A recess (14) is provided in the floor of the distribution plate (2b), within which the nozzle (20) of the valve unit (5a) is arranged and within which the medium for moistening may be applied to the capillary unit (3), on carrying out the stroke movement, whereby the capillary unit (3) is formed such that the moistening agent dispensed with the stroke movement is at least partly absorbed due to capillary effects and the absorbed medium is transferred to the applied fluid-absorbing medium.
