The mobile telephone communication system has acoustic signals and/or data transmitted between a mobile telephone (1) and a base station (7) of a communication network, the mobile telephone provided with a data interface for connection to a portable measuring device (10), supplying measured physiological data for a person fitted with the measuring device to the mobile telephone via a data output module and the data interface.
