REMOTE DATA CONTROL SYSTEM AND MEASURING DATA GATHERING METHOD

A remote control system which can gather measurement data efficiently and requires a minimum equipment investment by a data administrator by preventing the concentration of measurement data transmitted from measurers to a specific time zone. A private measuring device (3) is connected via a cable or the like to a communication device (2) in each of patients' homes (B, C, ...) to transfer data measured by a private measuring device (3) to a communication device (2) for storing in the same. A server (1) in a medical institution (A) sends data transmission requests to respective communication devices (2) in homes over a public communication network (10) periodically, e.g., daily, biweekly, or monthly. On receiving data transmission requests, communication devices (2) send stored measurement data to the server (1).
