A flap-like coin chute has a section inclined to a roll-off path of a return channel. A coin in a return section of the chute slides against the section and changes its inclination, falling onto the roll-off path of the return channel. The boundary wall of the return channel that is opposite the coin chute is sloped so that a further change of inclination occurs.
