<p>A chat system for a specific location includes a plurality of wireless terminals, an access unit disposed at the specific location for communicating with the plurality of wireless terminals and a server unit electrically connected to the access unit and to the Internet for communicating therebetween. A user of one of the plurality of wireless terminals communicates with at least one other of the plurality of wireless terminals disposed at the specific location via the access unit. The user of one of the plurality of wireless terminals may also communicate with the Internet via the server unit and the access unit. The server unit may authenticate either an identification or identification and a password of the user of one of the plurality of wireless terminals prior to allowing the user to communicate with at least one other of the plurality of wireless terminals or prior to allowing the user to communicate with the Internet via the server unit and the access unit.
