The system has a gear wheel pump (1) and a non-return valve (17) with a hydraulic or gas storage volume (18) between a gear wheel set in the pump and a the non-return valve. The capacity can be arranged between an outlet of the pump and the non-return valve. A hydraulic storage volume can be arranged in a piston storage device, preferably biased by a spring.
