The fastening arrangement for the detachable fixing of a cover on an open frame, and especially for a trim section in a motor vehicle, has a press button(80) with a hook-form end section(110) and installed on the boundary wall(65) of the open frame(75) extending at right angles to the frame opening. The mating piece(115) of the cover(70) interacting with the end section of the press button protrudes from the cover's rear side. The press button in recessed in the boundary wall and is axially movable in a housing(85) between an upper and a lower end position.
