The cutting tool has guide devices (5) to fit the internal or external diameter of the end sector, fitting it on the inside or outside, to straighten p the end sector co-axially in relation to a blade carrier (8) with a blade (9) to cut at least one end surface of the end sector. The guide devices nay have a mandrel which is cylindrical at least in sectors.
