The magnetization device has at least one oscillation circuit, containing at least one coil (L) for magnetization of a permanent magnet, with operation of the oscillation circuit with a first resonance frequency until the maximum energy is stored in the coil, with subsequent operation of the oscillation circuit with a resonance frequency having a higher value, under control of at least one controlled switch (T1,T2). An Independent claim for an operating method for a magnetization device is also included.
