摘要 A raw material for sintering in the form of pseudo grains, characterized in that the pseudo grains comprise a first layer having a nucleus of a rough iron ore grain having an average diameter of 2 mm or more and, attached to the outer surface of the first layer so as to cover it, a second layer containing fine iron ore grains having an average diameter less than 2 mm and a SiO2-containing raw material and containing no limestone based powdery raw material or solid fuel based powdery raw material and further, attached to the outer surface of the second layer, a third layer and optionally another layer containing a limestone based powdery raw material and a solid fuel based powdery raw material. The grain may comprise a third layer containing a mixture of a limestone based powdery raw material and a solid fuel based powdery raw material, or alternatively, may comprise a third layer containing a limestone based powdery raw material and, attached to the outer surface of the third layer, another layer containing a solid fuel based powdery raw material. The raw material for sintering in the form of pseudo grains can be used for producing a sintered ore for a blast furnace having high cold strength and also being excellent in reducibility by the use of a Dwight Lloyd type sintering machine.
