A spatially-resolving receiver (1) with several sensors (4), receive light reflected from an object (29) during an activation interval, synchronized with light emission from a transmitter (9). Light intensity detection signals of the sensors stored during activation interval are transferred simultaneously to a parallel processor (7) after each activation interval.
