<p>An image sensor includes a first reflector (1) that is a parabolic reflector having a single focus, a second reflector (2) that is a hyperbolic reflector having two focuses, and a photodetector (3) for converting a light signal from the second reflector (2) into an electric signal. The second reflector (2) is arranged such that either of its focuses coincides with the focus of the first reflector (1), and the photodetector (3) is arranged near the other focus of the second reflector (2). The provision of the two reflectors allows light from a subject to be incident on the photodetector (3) without interruption.</p> |
