A monitoring procedure for surveillance of household premises etc requires application of a computer unit (2) for at least temporary connection to the internet (4) and for sending an E-mail in dependency of the measured values received from the sensor (1). The sensor specifically, preferably in uniform time intervals, detects measured values and relays them to the computer unit (1).
