A topical form of administration for treating skin pain, containing O-acetylsalicylclic acid and/or at least one other active agent from the group consisting of the non-steroidal antiphlogistic agents, is characterised in that the form of administration is configured in the form of a superficial therapeutic system comprising a support layer which is impermeable to the active agent(s), a reservoir containing the active agent(s), a contact-bonding adhesive layer for fixing on the skin and a detachable protective layer to be removed prior to application; which continually releases the active agent(s) to the skin.
