<p>The electrical candle comprises a lamp unit (12) that has a body segment (18) comprising a contact unit (20) with radially outwardly extending sections (24, 25) with opposite contact elements (22, 23). An elongate candle casing has a safety device (28) attached thereto. The safety device (28) has an elongate opening (34) defined therein extending in a first direction. Below the safety device an electrical body has diametrically opposite conductive segments (46, 47) that are aligned in a second different direction. The lamp unit sections (24, 25) are insertable into the elongate opening (34) when aligned in the first direction and electrically connectable to the conductive segments (46, 47) when aligned in the second direction after having been rotated.</p> |
