A credit information inquiry system comprising registration means 1 for receiving a personal information consisting of prescribed items from a registration candidate and setting a unique identifier for every registration candidate to thereby register as a registrant X, storage means D1 for storing/accumulating a credit information of each registrant including the personal information in connection with the identifier, and information providing means for, if an identifier is inputted from a third party, providing the third party with a portion concerning a transaction credit degree extracted from a credit information of the registrant corresponding to that identifier.
