PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a splicing device capable of easily splicing sheets of continuous paper having different widths. SOLUTION: In this continuous paper splicing device for splicing the paper 27 run out in a device having a continuous paper conveying mechanism, and the paper 26 to be set next, paper pressing mechanisms 2 and 4 respectively fixing one end in the width direction of the paper, and a pair of paper pressing mechanisms 3 and 5 adjustable corresponding to the paper width for fixing the other end of the paper are mounted respectively for a rear edge of the run-out paper and for a front edge of the paper to be set next, whereby the sheets of paper having the different widths can be fixed and connected.
