PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To stabilize working accuracy without being influenced by the degree of skillfulness of workers by releasing the workers from troublesome preparating work of the measurement and input of a Z-axis pulse value when positioning a top die in the position where pressing force for pressing a work at bending work is generated. SOLUTION: A positioning signal ZP for positioning the top die 31 in the position Zc where top die pressing force F for pressing the work W is generated at the bending work is calculated by calculating means 3 based on product information such as the material quality GM of the work W and machine information such as the coefficientσof holding force of the top die 31.
