PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain a two-part adhesive composition which reacts to cure in a short time at room temperature when a first liquid is brought into contact with a second liquid, exhibits high initial adhesion strength and is excellent in workability when bonded. SOLUTION: The two-part adhesive composition comprises a first liquid comprising an aqueous liquid containing a vinyl alcohol-based polymer bearing a primary amino group or a secondary amino group in the molecule and a second liquid containing a dialdehyde starch.
