PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To produce solid powder cosmetic not generating hard caking, giving good feeling to uses when applied to skin while keeping persistency of the makeup effect and capable of obtaining fine and beautiful finish. SOLUTION: This method for producing solid powder cosmetic comprises packing slurry containing 5-95 wt.% organic powder having (1/1) to (1/100) ratio of short diameter to long diameter and a thickness of <=1/2 based on the long diameter into a forming container and then forming the slurry.
