PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method and an apparatus for gluing, and bookbinding by bluing to form an even thin glued part, and improve finished product quality of image formed bookbinding and drying speed of gluing. SOLUTION: A glue discharge means 41 applies glue dots or lines near the edge side of a paper S, which is transported by a conveyer means. The half- cylindrical glue on the paper S applied by the glue discharge means 41 is pressed by a pair of thin film forming rollers 47, which is placed below the paper travelling direction, for forming a thin film, and the glue adhered around the roller 47 is scratched with a scratching blade 481 and stored in a collecting container 483.
