PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a ball game training apparatus which enables enjoyment by a group and moreover, allows leading to practice for advancement. SOLUTION: The apparatus is provided with a plurality of ball arrival detection means 7 which are arranged respectively at a plurality of target positions to separately detect the arrival of balls at the target positions, as released by practicer, a counting means 5 to count the number of balls released by the trainee, an extraction means 8 to extract an output of one 7 out of the plurality of ball arrival detection means 7a-7c, an extraction subject altering means 9 which alters a ball arrival detection means 7 sequentially according to the set sequence each time a ball is detected by the ball arrival detection means 7 whose output is extracted by the extraction means 8 and a display control means 11 to make a display means 4 display the number of balls counted until the ball is detected by the ball arrival means 7 whose output is extracted.
