PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To enhance print image quality by adjusting relative positional shift between dots formed at different timings accurately. SOLUTION: A patch type test pattern is employed for adjusting positional shift between first and second dots formed at different timings. In the test pattern, the ratio of a part where first and second dots are arranged in main or sub-scanning direction may be intentionally higher than the ratio of a part where first dots or second dots are arranged. Alternatively, same number of first and second dots may be mixed at the substantially same variance over the substantially entire test pattern. |
