PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for manufacturing wax patterns which is capable of rapidly manufacturing the wax patterns used for manufacturing hollow products which are used as final products and are light in their weight. SOLUTION: The wax pattern 11 having the dimensions of a hollow part 16 larger than those of openings 12 and 13 is molded by dividing the same to the upper wax pattern 11a and lower wax pattern 11b which may be respectively molded without using cores. The upper wax pattern 11a is molded by using a drag 33 and a cope 35 and the lower wax pattern 11b is molded by using a drag 63 and a cope 65. At this time, there is no need for using the cores. The molded upper wax pattern and lower wax pattern are joined.
