PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a image processor synthesizing pictures taken by a plurality of cameras fixed on a car and harmonizing the displayed images even if the status of movable parts in the car varies. SOLUTION: In this system, a pixel synthesizing section 21 receives camera images output from a image pickup section 1 and references to a mapping table MPT to generate a synthetic image. A display switching section 23 receives a signal S1 indicating status of such movable parts as door, bonnet, etc., and rewrites mapping data if status change in the movable part affects camera images so as not to use the camera images for a synthetic image.
