PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a pneumatic tire capable of lightening a tire and reducing a rolling resistance by suppressing a occurrence of separation in belt layers and bending of cords. SOLUTION: A belt layer is formed at least 2 belt plies, arranged to a belt direction in a coated rubber as a metal filament bundle which is arranged in parallel without twisting a fine diameter metal mono-filament with high tensile strength, and the numbers of filament in the bundle is right-sized in proportion with the diameter of filament. And the thickness of the filament bundle to the diameter direction is fixed to the specified proportion to the belt ply thickness.
